I'll admit I cried some when Adam gave his last hugs and stepped off into the MTC. Even though I am an RM and I know just how exciting and life-changing a mission is, it's still hard to say goodbye for two years. And yet I know Adam will come back having experienced wonderful, challenging, heart-wrenching, testimony-building, eye-opening, and completely unforgettable things.
Over the last few months, Adam has really shown me what it means to be a good listener. When I needed a shoulder to cry on, he was there, but not without sound advice and logic that helped me think through it all. Adam is hilarious and fun and hardworking resilient and smart. His testimony is undeniable. We will miss him, but it's ok because I know he will change so many lives in Mongolia.
