December 31st. It blows my mind, but today is the very last day of 2012. I honestly don't know how this came to be, but life simply spins way too fast. And now, as I wait to join my friends in a celebration of the year that's passed and the year that's to come, I sit here tapping away at the keyboard, watching music videos for all these songs I love listening to and reminiscing in these last moments of a wonderful 366 days. Soon, high school will be over, the real world will snatch me up, and I wonder-- will I be ready?
Please, congratulate me. I actually took out my paint brush. Not like I'm not a completely self-trained, inexperienced amateur or anything.
It's simple and not super fabulous or anything, but my goal was to create a thin pencil sketch of a vintage summer setting and then breathe in a little life with exaggerated colors. Rough water colors. With the bright red lipstick, rosy cheeks {for whatever reason the pink did not copy through on the scanner}, a casual pose, and the bouquet in her lap, I imagine this 1950's-styled young woman to be enjoying an afternoon spinning with love-sick pleasures.
You know who you are. And honestly, thank you. Thank you for being so kind, for treating me so sweetly at the same time that you make me feel like melting, make me laugh out loud and be myself and feel like, in general, I just want to be a better person. It's my turn for a compliment streak, and you know you are so smart, so athletic, so musically talented, and so dang attractive. You know your position in life, and you teach me, even when it's hard, how to keep my priorities set straight. You teach me the fun in closing my eyes and indulging in the daydreams of a happy future. Seriously, thank you for being you.
2012. A year unlike any other, unique in its opportunities to learn and grow and experience the world. It's a year I will never forget, a year I deserve to thank.
Janurary-- For the first time in my life, I was able to find a group of friends that I can partyrock with whenever I feel like without fear of being abandoned like so many times before {for various reasons such as moving, finding a new group of friends, or just plain not clicking}. Chelsea, Bryan, Karisa, Lindsey, Haley, Paige, Sam, and Tesah, later joined by McKay, Anthony and Zech. The group keeps expanding. And honestly,I don't know what I'd do without this group of wild ones to keep me on the constant run for adventure.
February-- This month of love I had the opportunity to sing a duet in Sacrament meeting. Though I had performed a little bit before, this helped prove to me how much I enjoy singing and really want my future to involve musical performance. This year was also leap year.
March--Apparently, it was a very happy month. Reviewing over old posts, I had a kind of screw everything -type attitude, and it somehow actually helped boost my grades as well as my smiling. With three friends' birthdays, a few dances to crash, The Hunger Games finally coming out, and an opportunity to sing backup for Firefly, it was quite an enjoyable 31 days.
April-- Easter month, making the cheer squad for my fourth year in a row, and... drumroll...I got my permit! Now, if only I would just get up and take the test for my driver's license...
May-- This month called for the glorious end of Freshman year and oh yeah, Trek! Definitely a challenging experience, pulling handcarts 19th century style, one that made me very, very grateful for those faithful people who came before us and paved the way for the life we can now live today.
June-- I had the fantastic chance to snatch up my passport and hop on a plane with Dad and Rachel to Peru. This was the first time I could actually remember leaving the U.S., and as we traveled to Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, Paracas, and Iquitos, visiting the modern city, the poverty-filled outskirts, the Amazon jungle, the equator, and ancient ruins, I basically has the best learning experience I could ever hope for.
July-- Cheer camp, Girls Camp and San Clemente, California. Basically, summer.
August-- My sophomore year of high school began. A full schedule {no lunch} with lots of honors classes including duel credit Spanish III, and also the football season started for cheer. I also learned from my extremely-intelligent English teacher that Destiny, the book I had been writing for the past two years, was terrible, so I ditched over two hundred pages and started a completely new novel.
Seriously, this year has been spectacular. And I can only cross my fingers that 2013 can even come close to matching up.

September-- Near the end I got to go on my very first date. My birthday was in only 10 days, so I figured what the heck. Homecoming. And you know how weird it felt to finally have the chance to be paired up {though I learned the hard way single dating = not what I want to do right now}
October-- As of the 10th, I was officially eligible to date and drive {not like I don't have my license or anything...}. I was surprised with a very Sweet 16, and within a few days was called up on another date. Super exciting. And with a few rounds of the question game over txt, I started to realize I was falling for a friend.
November-- Mr. President Obama got reelected. I had seriously hoped for Mitt Romney, but what can I say? I'm not 18. We'll have to see where are country is headed in the next four years. But hey, it was a month of gratitude, so the least I can do is show my appreciation to get my braces off.
December--Obviously, this has been a month of festivities. With Christmas, the air has been filled with lights and music. It has been a month filled with love as well as learning. With the Connecticut shooting, it has been a time of tears. The 21st was dubbed the end of the world, but fortunately, that never happened. And here we still are. Seriously, this year has been spectacular. And I can only cross my fingers that 2013 can even come close to matching up.
Today, Olivia Grace is 11. It's unbelievable, but now this little girl is blossoming into a little beauty that won't be so little much longer. With her blond hair and blue eyes and skin so tan we don't even know how she can be classified as "white," I just know she'll be a draw-dropper in the next few years. But for now, Livy Lou is a fantastic sister who is sweet as sugar, always ready to care for wild Sophie, or braid hair, or give massages. She is naturally peaceful, crafty, musical & is such a fine baker I definitely will have to start working out more. Basically, this girl has got it all! So happy birthday.
This little babe, as of yesterday, is 15. Yeah, we tend to clash more with every passing year, but she's cool. This gal is a talented actress, a lovely-- if shy-- alto, and an overall funny miss.
Now that Kendall's got her license, us cousins were able to sneak off for dinner at Firehouse and Chipotle and then drive to the other end of town for milkshakes. I figured out the hard way that milkshakes are not what you want in your mouth when Paige looks down and, in a panic, realizes that she somehow managed to lose her belt she had been wearing around her waist. When we walked back to the car, nearly choking on the absurdity, Kendall joked that her belt was probably sitting in the parking lot. I hadn't realized she was kidding, so thought it no big deal when I spotted it right there on the asphault and was confused when Paige continued to search the car frantically. Of course, only Paige would do something like that, cause she is such a fashionable little cutie that losing a rhinstoned yellow belt is on the same level as losing an earring. Still laughing, we thought we might as well watch White Chicks once we got back to the house and climbed into our PJ's, and boy! that movie is...interesting...
I diverge. Rachel dear, happy birthday. Enjoy the painful year called 15 as you wait so long for 16.

Please, just forgive me. This post deserved to be posted a month ago, but finals and holidays kind of pushed it from my mind.
I asked him using inside jokes with a wanted poster and a note written in lipstick on the mirror of the boy's dressing room. In return, he gave me a jar filled with over 1000 M&M's that we had to sort through. It was a yes.
The theme of 2012's Winter Formal was "Frozen in Time Square." Living in a little suberb of Phoenix, this was 100% fine by us and us girls quickly headed down to mall to pick out our dresses, shoes, and jewelry. Not gonna lie, I think the best place to go to find great deals on formals is the discount Dillards at Fiesta Malls, where I've gotten some gorgeous dresses for a whoppin' $12!
If you can't tell, we had fun snappin' some shots.
For are little pre-dance date, we drove over to the mall and rode around-- fully fomral-- on motorized stuffed animals. The looks some people shot us... Especially when we rode the mini-transports up the elevator...
The dance itself was chalk full of hot music and pumpin' beat. We're teens, and we get to have fun. It was a blast to hang out with friends and enjoy some time melt thoughts of work and just be young.
How nice to celebrate the holidays with family. Grandpa Paul and Nana Hanny swung in town from California, and we also met up with our savvy cousins from across the street. Like tradition, we indulged in fancy meals both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, received new pajamas, and watched the little kids' reannactment of the Nativity. Without school the next day, I saw no reason not to stay up texting and watching Christmas music videos on YouTube, getting extra sentimental by the time it was almost one and the songs I listened to happened to be mixed with clips from Nativity movies.
I probably should've thought staying up late through, considering the kids were set about getting up bright and early to open presents.
But, as always, the cookies and carrots had been devoured and we were shocked by our gifts. I received a Yamaha electric keyboard with music books!
By 9:30, our cousins Kendall and Paige picked up me and Rachel to see Les Miserables. Rachel insisted that we needed to be there extremely early, and apparently we were, because it didn't start till 11:40 and we were almost the only four there for over an hour {she accused us of being boring for not wanting to sit in the theatre that long, because she's the kind of person who sat in line for The Hunger Games for ten hours and thought it fun, while I went to a 7:00 preshowing and got to enter the theatre only few minutes to spare after getting a fancy dinner} Even though I was sitting in that same chair for five hours, I will tell you right now that it was fantastic. In other words, I bawled my eyes out and had a headache for hours as a result of my sobbing. Rachel told me that I had to take her to see it again tomorrow for her birthday, and I had to tell her no because any more tears shed and I think I'll have lost at least half my body's water weight.
I've eaten so much junk food that I don't even want to know what my poor stunt group will have to do to lift me up. Hopefully I'm just kidding, but honestly, I need to work out. So Livy and I snuck a walk around the neighborhood. The air was cool and fresh, the breeze brisk, and the lights dazzled in a meadow of electric colors.
Can I just say, Merry Christmas?
Christmas bells. Can you hear them ring, chiming out with the glorious beauty of the beloved holidays? Can you hear the carols echoing the wonder of these generations-adored celebrations? Tradition. The name of Christ sung for two millenniums. Prophesied long before then.
His birth was a miracle. His teachings and perfect good works were a miracle. His salvation of the world and resurrection from the dead was a miracle.
I fall on my knees. This Christmas Eve, I praise Jesus Christ, the Lord and Redeemer of all.
My heart races in my breast, pounding with such intensity that my chest heaves and I'm shocked they haven't heard. Quickly I reajust the black hoodie, pulling it down low and tucking my hair beneath with a last desperate effort to hide my face. Distant voices call out. They've yet to discover us, but the flashlights weaving through the cold, dark night pierce my nerves. "Move!" someone hisses, and we bolt across the wideranged street, the no-man's land. As the roar of an engine approaches, we dive into the shadows and press our bodies against the ground with adrenaline-induced speed. One false move, and it's over.
007 all the freaking way.
Oh, and did I forget to mention it's the End of the World? Last day of the Mayan Calener, I hear, December 21st, 2012. Oh deary me-- but at least we're goin' out with a party.

Who knew it was possible to squash over four months worth of notes, formulas, and drawings, and examples into one tiny half sheet of paper? It is. And it's called: FINALS WEEK. Or also just the art of surviving high school. Wish me luck as I continue chuggin' along this these last few days of the semester. Don't ask me why my teachers insist on having at least two huge finals for every class, but after this Friday at 11:30, I'm saying see-ya to this all and going to enjoy a fabulous Christmas break.
Now for somthing more interesting, isn't this just adorable?

1 AM and I was sobbing. How could this be true? As the tears blurred my vision, I could only pray that I was misreading the information somehow. But I wasn't, and the salty droplets splattered onto my quivering palms.
Twenty-six souls. Twenty-six living, breathing, laughing, young, and precious souls-- shattered. By just one man. Just one gun.
It sickens me. This is children we are talking about! Twenty children who, though wild and smiling when their mothers hurried them off to school Friday morning, are now being layed in the ground. And the six adults who, though having woken up that just two days ago fresh and ready for work, will never again open their eyes.
I don't understand. How could this even be possible? Yet this Christmas the gifts chosen and wrapped and slipped under the tree so lovingly will remain unopened. I think of all these families and I am distraught.
I hope these poor people know that twenty-six are now in God's embrace.
Oh, pray for Conneticut!

Ain't I just psyched. It's 12³, the last time we'll have a triple-digit-date for another 89 years. My social studies teacher has placed a bet that at least one of us students will live to see that day, and whoever does, he says, deserves a tootsie pop. But really, can I make a wish? Can I close my eyes and cross my fingers that this holiday season will be brinked with the wonders of a luminous, a chilled, a musical, a giving, a religious, and a downright romantic experience? No more time for daydreaming, but transforming beloved imagination into thrilling reality.
Music flitting across the room. Dancing lights. Irresistibly naughty food. Warm snuggly blankets and Hallmark movies. The scent of pine and peppermint. Romance.
It's December and I am entangled by the wonder. Snatch me up in the grace the love and the beauty, if I am not already head over heals for the daring fun and excitement.

I think there's a point of exhaustion one hit's where they no longer feel tired. I'm talking, staying-up-till-two-AM-on-a-school-night-doing-homework syndrome. It's a high school thing, and basically sleep-- wait, what does that word mean again? It's a price to be paid willingly, though. I knew what I was signing up for when I had to stay after school for cheer. We had to wait before for tumbling coach, then tumbled for an hour before waiting for the freshman basketball game to finish. That went into overtime, so our own didn't begin until over a half-hour past the normal time. Our game was a blast, but it also went into overtime with more timeouts than possible to count. My voice was probably destroyed by the amount of screaming for our Highland boys. At least we won! But then I didn't get home till past 8 {an hour-and-a-half late}. Finally, homework! Basically, I was high off my lack of sleep today. I literally could not stop laughing in silent classrooms or bouncing in my seat or just plain demonstrating the effects of being four hours short of pulling an all-nighter.
Three weeks from Christmas. I don't care if December 21st is the end of the Mayan calender. I will survive if only to see true relaxation!

A combination of two things allow me to give a happy recommendation to smile: one, it's Friday; two, it's almost December; and three, my braces are freaking finally off!
Yes, it did take them an hour of trying to convince me that I should leave them on for another six months. We got a new orthodontist, and her opinion was different than that of the old orthodontist. I totally trust that she was being very logical and wise in what she was saying, but today I was in the mood for pathos, not logos. I mean, come on, high school is only four years and I can't continue to smile with my mouth closed! And tomorrow is Winter Formal! And almost everyone has had their braces off for a while! If my future self regrets this decision, I take full responsibility and call myself an idiot, but right now I think my teeth look absolutely fantastic, my bite is fine, and I am so happy to no longer be metal-mouthed.

Can I just say that life is good? Even when technology has gotten the best of me in trying to upload photos, the basketball team I cheered for tonight was crushed and the dance we performed was cut short when the iPod died, and math is just being itself, I still feel the desire to laugh, sing, be Katie-ishly obnoxious. It's still November, but Thanksgiving has come and gone and now our halls are decked in holly. Now just one more month before the big party of winter break, with finals in between {lets not dwell on that part} and I feel strangely calm about everything. Maybe it's cause my family is fabulous and my friends are amazing {we can certainly depend on each other to have each others' backs and have a good time hanging out in between classes and at least twice every freakin weekend}. Maybe it's cause I've gotten too lazy to care like I used to. But whatever the case, I'm liking this.
Part of life is about the enjoyment. We spend so much time learning and growing, struggling and overcoming, that once in a while we need to relax and enjoy the peace of downtime.
This Thanksgiving we went the Rays'. Having known the family for almost fifteen years, it was great to spend time with them and.... well.... eat:
The aromas the wafted through the house were delicious. Though I normally try to eat light, I'll admit that I feel quite sorry for my bases who have to lift me in stunts. JK. But it was great. Now I'm just trying to push myself back into my healthier habits.
I've figured out that I was a stupid person. Now I've learned my lesson. So, from now on I swear not to:
- Push myself further than I really honestly know I can
- Compare myself to others in a way that I am only doing things by bandwagon
- Over-exhaust myself with those things I don't enjoy or won't be able to apply the future I personally have in mind
An autumn breeze rustles the blushing foliage.
Sunlight trickles through the white skybourne flowrets
Shattering off the water's smooth glass face
I inhale the precious moment and bundle it up within my breast
The innocence, the beauty, the radiance, the love
Beloved wild
Cherished individuality
Yes. The two, so young, so bold, so caring, so free.
To call, simply, mine.
Oh wow. I think I should just hold a competition with myself to see how many nights in a row I can stay up obnoxiously late. I mean, midnight doesn't seem that bad compared to my friend Anthony's going to bed at 3:30 last night {for the same 19th century literature assignment I also spent many hours working on tediusly} but honestly, it's catching up to me. Is it possible for a sophmore to be diagnosed with senioritus? I swear, this is ridiculous. How long will it take for me {and apparently all my sophmore friends} to realize that even procrastinating down to the very last hours will not stop teachers from heaving mountainloads of work right onto your shoulders? {Though I was very shocked last week. Chelsea jokingly suggested to our English teacher to postpone that assignment I mentioned earlier to Wednesday instead of Tuesday, since we might forget it over the three day weekend. I tried to pitch in, of course being totally half-hearted because why would our teacher want to move the due-date? But, just like that, she bumped it to Wednesday! I guess miracles do happen.}
I thought fall break would mend my school frustrations. That just made it worse, cause it felt like I was returning to summer, but I wasn't. Then I thought a half-day followed by a three-day weekend ought to do the job, but apparently not. Maybe the thing is that my bomb-diggety friends and I anticipate hanging out too much, since we are constantly meeting up on the weekends, in the hallways, and even playing the question game & oozing romantic daydreams via txting.
Or maybe it's just that awkward time called Thanksgiving Season. Smack dab in the middle of Halloween and the Holidays, everyone tears down the cobwebs & tombstombs and then doesn't know quite when it's okay to pull out the tree, the lights, & the Nativity sets. Yes, that must be my problem, because you know how freaking bad I want to blast those darn fantastical Christmas tunes?

You know how I spend my Sunday afternoons? Watching blood be drawn out of my dog's veins, a tube stuffed down her throat, her stomach sliced open, her uterus pulled out, the womb being cut open, and three little sacks pulled out. Mom and Rachel, on the verge of passing out cold, were forced the leave the room. But I thought it was fascinating. Thought not by the natural ways, these puppies were being brought into the world!
Tomorrow Captain, Ky, and little bitty mini Cooper {with it being Chelsea Carr's birthday, I though this would be appropriate.}. How we love Zoe and Armani's little Coton de Tulear babies!

October 31 and Happy Halloween! We didn't do much today, but any chance to use glitter in my Honors Duel Credit Spanish III class, watch dumb '60's movies in Seminary, wear think makeup, and hangout with friends on a schoolnight simply because it's a holiday? I'll seize it. Except I am incredibly sick of wearing my '80's costume.
And knock on wood, but if spooky doesn't kill me, then school will.

I've come to the conclusion that my friends and I are nothing short of wild. The fall breeze blew in and sanity fled, to return only when life pleaded it.
I'll admit I am guilty for getting behind, but living is good. Can I say just that? So lets back up. Even if perhaps for fall break I stayed home instead of sneaking off on a cool escape to the beach, it was absolutely fine to relax... Skewampous sleeping schedules... Reading books... Running with Livy... The whole sha-bang. Meanwhile Mom was in Florida helping Aunt Tammy with her new baby Brock, so while Dad was at work we could mostly fend for ourselves.

{Isn't he cute?}
My friends and I found a lot of time to hang out.
The day school got out, I was chillin' at home alone while the kids ran off on their little playdates and Grandma and Grandpa {who had come in town for my cousin Megan's baptism; I totally adore these people} left with Mom to check out a sale. Suddenly I get a call from Slade asking if I wanted to go to the state fair in twenty minutes for a date. What?! I mean yes, but, being in my PJ's and all, that was a short notice. At first I said no, but then called back ten minutes later to announce that I could change my plans and go with him. Why not? Perhaps all I could do was rip my fingers through the knots in my hair and try to wipe away the black smudges under my eyes, but it was all good. So off we went with another couple to meet what we soon found out to be ghetto town! Ok, maybe I did see some girls walking around with their bras as an excuse for a top, a lot a tattoos and piercings and fun stuff, but it really was fun. We walked around, watched the figure eight racing, and became dazzled by the colorful carnival lights and delicious aromas, and even went to the body exhibit {I had thought it would be a neat learning experience, except I walked in and all scientific wonderings fled. Instead all I could think was, "What was this person's name?!"} To top it off, after the fair we purchased a Dominos pizza and ate beneath an umberella at Starbucks, the boys busily making paper roses for us two girls.
By the time I got home, it was past 10. I glanced at the clock, then at my phone, then mumbled "Shoot!" Having left at 2 or 3, I hadn't realized it would take so long to get back. But apparently it took an hour to drive both ways, and then everything else just happened. Don't get me wrong- I had a blast at the fair- but now guilt swarmed in. My cell was filled with several texts wondering where I was, because as I well knew the plan for this whole week had been to meet up at Bryan's house at seven. And, as I realized much too late, the one explanation text I had tried to shoot earlier in the evening when Slade was busy had not gone through. I quickly called Haley, who replied they were all still there. So, despite her pleas that it was much too late, I dragged my mom {she hadn't left for Florida yet} out to the car so she could drive me to his house {oh the pains of not having a license yet}. And that's just me for yah. By the time I got there, my energy level was out the window and I was just crazy. There were probably ten of my good friends there. With so much excess energy I started doing backhand springs in the living room, then the splits with Karisa. Bryan seemed pleased to see me despite my lateness, so we sang and he taught me how to play one hand of Viva la Vida while he played the other.
On the Tuesday of the break, a bunch of us went over to the mall to walk around. Recently we've discovered that it's quite fun to visit Dillard's to try on all the store's formals and show them to each other. Since we usually acquire shrugs and such separately, I don't think a single one the dresses would pass for modest at that point, so we could only laugh and blush about what would happen were one of the boys to walk in the room. One dress in particular was pretty with its short white ballerina skirt and fitted rhinestoned waistline... except the heart neckline was low and tight enough that I just about died at Karisa's look of horror when she walked out of her stall and saw me. Now we refer to it as the "Juliet dress" and laugh every time we think about that which I most certainly would have never even considered taking a picture of. Later people probably thought there was something... different... about us as we were screaming and hugging in the middle of a mall upon learning that two of the people in the group were no longer fighting. Then we drove driving over to Bryan's house for the heck of it because he hadn't been able to get out of the house beforehand. He definitely wasn't expecting us, but we said hi and then he tagged along when we went to screw around at the park. I then probably lost any sense of grace or innocence when I would hear things wrong or words whose meanings I had not at all meant came out of my mouth or I'd just plain be stupid {and I will never ask someone to help me with soccer defense again, because I've learned that when that person "helps" you, he will tell you to do something in the hope that you, the blonde, will be tricked into being dumb, but when he gives you this advice, you mishear horribly and then he pulls the trick and thinks you're gullible but really you are just standing in shock from what you thought he said}. I won't dwell. But it was pretty funny. Even when we got lost driving around town at night.
I also found out that I'm not allowed to be buff anymore. I can't help it! But I guess the fortunate thing is that I failed playing defense in soccer and catching a football, so I proved that, even if I may be able to flip around and climb rockwalls and do-up-V-ups with my defined abs, I fail at anything involving a ball.
Oh yeah, and I can't forget Mole Day for Chemistry!
As a source of extra credit, we all met up to make shirts and cookies. Pretty easy points if I must say so myself.
Last Friday, Bryan and I auditioned to sing a duet at a fancy dinner night. We're yet to find out if we made it, but it was a really fun experience. We spent hours together working on the old '60's jazz song, Quando, Quando, Quando. His tone is nice and brassy, and when our voices intertwined, the accompaniment echoing from the baby grand, I could feel my fingers tingling with excitement. Now just cross you fingers to see if we will be performing it!
Until yesterday, I was the only one in my group to be sixteen. Kinda lame, right? But we decided to "surprise" Chelsea by making her a breakfast for dinner. She's had several "surprises" in her life that worn't really so, so why not continue with that streak. Walking through her front door and shooing her into her room, we dumped our groceries on the counter, rummaged around her kitchen for some whisks and pans and such before creating a delicious brinner of chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate whipped cream, eggs, bacon, and orange juice. She could only laugh as we handed her food in the sad shape of a face on a plate. Then we snuck her off to Nielson's for ice cream. Oh yeah, and I learned the hard way not to try to hop in the trunk of a car all gracefully- when you're wearing a dress. Quite fortunately, I wore Spankies underneath, but poor Bryan about had a heart attack as he turned at just the wrong moment to see me trip over the seat.
Chelsea had tickets to a game, so we were then dropped off at Karisa's to hang out for a while and change into costumes before going to Tesah's little Halloween party. Half an hour after we were supposed to be there, we realized we were not gonna be catching a ride from anyone, so we walked for another hour to her house. Honestly, I hardly have more fun than hiking around the city with my friends {and we do it often}. We'll start singing popular pop songs, walking in a line with our arms over each other's shoulders, whispering to each other and gigglings while not allowing others to hear... Then at Tesah's, we played Mafia and the stare down game. I've decided I am much too good and serious at that game to play it anymore...
Halloween rolls around soon, so Saturday was the ward party.
Nothing too fancy, but Mom was Dora the Explorer, Rachel wore her costume for her play as one of Dracula's brides, Adam was "Elder Wayne," the superhero missionary, Olivia a gnome, Eric an Angry Bird, Sophie a Pillow Pet, and then I just thickened my makeup, crimped my hair, and went '80's.
I was pleased to have the party crashed by my amigos before going back over to my place to watch Insidious.
Seriously, these guys can agree with me saying that I never scream during movies, but I totally did in this one. I'm surprised that Bryan, Paige, and I didn't completely smother each other as we cuddled up super tight on just one little couch. The others similarly snuggled with fright beneath comforting blankets throughout the entire movie. Even after everyone left, Bryan and I stayed up late texting each other in order to take our minds off the shivers still racing up our spines. But that's just a given- we've discovered how much we enjoy the question game, and have actually been playing it quite a lot! Who'd ever think that I could answer such intense questions? But we tease each other and know that the game involves 100% honesty, even when we ask each other that which we know might leave us squirming to have to answer.
Knock on wood, but sometimes I wonder if life can just get too good... I love it!
