We had two Christmases at the Samuelson's house. Earlier in December we flew down to celebrate Nana's birthday, meeting together at a very elegant restaurant and opening early Christmas presents including pajamas. On Christmas Eve we played games and opened more jammies together, this time custom tops with names for everyone:
"The Pilot" (Jim)
"The Glue" (Jordie)
"The Doctor" (Matt)
"The Nurse" (Danielle)
"The Coder" (Dallin)
"The Bookworm" (Brie)
"The Graduate" (Anna)
"The Writer" (Brooke)
"The Designer" (Hannah)
Dallin and I headed to my parents' house for some shuteye before driving back to the Samuelson's early Christmas morning. I always say I wanna spend Christmas morning wherever the babies are at. Watching my nephew listen as his parents read him the note from Santa and then find Santa's footprints on the porch was darling! As always, Jim and Jordie made aebelskivers for a delicious Christmas breakfast.
