Apparently I'm cursed to get sick every time Paige and Nguyen throw a costume party. First it was Nguyen's 1920s theme murder mystery birthday party, and then it was Halloween. Dallin and I even got some great costumes, but I guess we'll save them for next year. After a week of being sick I went to the doctor and found out I had pneumonia. Walking pneumonia, so I still had to go to class since testing negative for COVID means you get to tough it out, and I just moved my speech therapy sessions to online since it felt unnecessary to cancel them.
After a week of antibiotics I was having really bad upper back pain so I got an X-ray to make sure there weren't complications from the pneumonia. The pneumonia was gone, the pain was probably from trying to show off too much during yoga, and as it turns out I have a bit of a curve to my back! Not enough to be scoliosis like my sister Rachel, but interesting enough to look at. I wanted to post on social media, "She ain't thick but she CURVY," but Dallin said it wasn't funny.
Since I had to cancel all my Halloween plans, I decided to decorate for Christmas instead. I had hid the new decor, and then when Dallin locked himself in the office to do some work stuff I hurried and got it all set up. Arlo was very excited about all the boxes, ornaments and fronds being set up. When Dallin finally came out a few hours later, he was quite shocked. More pics to come.
