Since I was born, there has never a time when my family didn't have a pet. The first pet we ever had was a schnauzer named Ritz, bought before I was born. In my scrap book from when I was a baby, I have many pictures of him. Above many of the pictures it says "Katie's 'Big Brother'". Then we moved to Massachusettes!
Nikki

When I was two we got another dog, a female golden retriever, which we called Nikki. I do not have too much memory of what she was like, but I definitely remember loving her. One day Ritz ran away, so we were left with one pet. Right at about the time when Adam was born, my parents decide to get another dog, this time a shelty named Abby. I have even less memory of her than Nikki. I just know that she would curl up and fall asleep in the lap of sleeping, baby Adam in Adam's carseat. But soon we had to get rid of her because the neighbors didn't like her constant barking. Once again we were left with one pet.
Jasmine

When I was five, I started begging my parents for a white Persian cat. Not able to find any Persians, my parents got a female rag doll cat a little after Olivia was born. Thinking she was like a princess, we named her Jasmine. Later that year, it was time to go back to Arizona. We then got another schnauzer, a male, named Barren. Really the only memory I have of him is he and Nikki running from the opposite sides of the porch and tripping me. We gave him to Rachel's preschool teacher.
Diamond
Zeus

Later my mom started researching English golden retrievers. Sure enough, we ended up getting two of them, a male and female, which we named Diamond and Zeus. Diamond is an extremely mellow dog. Zeus just likes to herd me. (I know. Weird.) We then gave our Nikki to my mom's dad.
Jewel

Later that year we got another English golden, Jewel. She is one of those dogs, you know, not too crazy, not too mellow, but barks a lot. She is also a VERY great mother dog.
Diva

A couple years later we got yet another English golden. We named her Diva. She is a very crazy one.
Angel

Then we got Angel. She is a very cute one, and although she is more than a year old now, she looks like a pup. Let me just tell you. She has a long body and SHORT legs, plus a cowlick on her nose (If you click on the picture, you might, just might be able to see the cowlick that hasn't been able to go down since she was a puppy.)! She is Diva's best friend.
Zoe`

Then my mom decided it was time to get a smaller dog. She looked online and discovered the rare coton de tuliar (cootawn day tewleeair) breed. In fact, although the breed is hundreds of years old, they have only been in the country for twenty-something years! They are the clowns of the K9 world, and were even used to entertain pirates! So, yep, got a female named Zoe`. She is really cute. She is so fast, we call her a running mop! She loves other people and dogs, and might even think she's a golden retriever! She is best friends with Angel. Last night we got another golden (English) , Angel's half sister which we named Whisper. I know that she'll be a great pet!
John

We have also had a palomino horse named Princess, fish, lizards (one which was caught on my dad's b-day and named after him, and then afterwards Adam was obsessed with naming lizards after people on Dad's side of the family), and even for a few day or weeks had Diamond's daughter, Breezy, when her owner could no longer keep her. I'm sure I will have many more pets. Thank you, Ritz, Nikki, Abby, Jasmine, Barren, Diamond, Zeus, Jewel, Diva, Angel, Zoe`, Whisper, Breezy, Princess, Bubbles, Beta, John, Dave/Susan/Becca, Steve, and any other pets which I've forgotten (which I know I've forgotten some) for being my family's great pets.
