When Rachel announced she and Dick were flying in from Alaska for a psychology conference, my parents also bought tickets so that we could have the whole family together (minus missionary Eric).  It was my cousin Paige's idea to celebrate Easter all together, albeit a few days late. I hosted and had a lot of fun finding fun Easter-themed appetizers and desserts to go with our traditional meal. In addition, we played an Easter egg game where everyone took turns rolling a dice to see how many eggs they got to open that round. Most eggs were stuffed with candy, but I stashed a few with small gift cards. Beckham had a massive Easter basket, thanks to the Amazon gifts from the various grandparents. Rachel gifted the babies with toy bunnies she knitted! 

 Growing up in Gilbert, we lived only a few neighborhoods over from our cousins. My sister Rachel and I were very close in age to our cousins Kendall and Paige, and the four of us hung out constantly.  Rachel and Kendall shared the middle name Anne, and Paige and I shared the middle name Elizabeth. Sometime in elementary school we went through a phase where we decided the girls sharing middle names should hang out exclusively, and thus the Anne Club and the Elizabeth Club were formed, brief though they lasted.

Paige told me she was pregnant on Christmas Eve 2022, the same day I had taken a false negative pregnancy test.  Our baby boys were born 2.5 weeks apart. It has been so amazing to have someone to navigate new motherhood and all the baby stages with, especially since both of us are the first in our families to have kids.

Recently I bought the Thanksgiving Point membership with guest perks, which has meant lots of trips to the local butterfly biosphere, dinosaur museum, gardens, farm, etc. Paige and I have also taken trips to BYU campus for the free art museum and natural history museum. The butterfly biosphere was by far a favorite for the babies!
