If I thought fall was fun last year, it was even more fun with a two-year-old! This year:
- We attended lots of fall fests, and though Beckham loved the corn pits, I was a bit wary since the hospital incident involving corn. Beckham also likes "spooky." Dallin invented a horrifying Halloween version of The Itsy Bitsy Spider and throughout October Beckham always asked for "Spooky Spider." He also enjoyed the Halloween version of other nursery rhymes and picked up some classic Halloween vocab words such as ghost, pumpkin and witch. I preferred to keep things on the more "cutesy" side rather than the scary side for Halloween.

| Beck loved guiding us and our friends through the corn maze, saying confidently, "That way!" |
- We went to Arizona for 48 hours for Dallin's 10-year high school reunion. That weekend was the first time I have seen a monsoon in nearly a decade!
- Dallin and I both turned 29!
For Dallin's birthday, we went to the Sleep Token concert. It was incredible. Dallin saw their show two years ago when I was freshly postpartum, and even though I was in no shape to attend back then, I was quite jealous of his videos. This time, I checked with my audiologist friend Emily if it was okay to go to a concert while pregnant (I was concerned about the baby's developing hearing) and she said yes -- AND she was going to be in town from Idaho to attend the same concert!
For my birthday, Dallin and I enlisted Eric and his girlfriend Gracie to babysit so that we could have a date night at the Cheesecake Factory. He also surprised and spoiled me with presents!
- For Halloween, Dallin wouldn't drop his years' long joke of pregnant-me dressing as a whale, so I went ahead and got us Star Wars costumes. 10-year-old me, who dressed as my icon Padmé Amidala, would have been very proud of me dressing up as her once again but this time pregnant style! Beckham loved trick-or-treating and quickly became a pro at holding out his little basket and asking politely for candy.
