We celebrated the day before Christmas Eve, also called "Christmas Eve Squared" by Dallin and Jim or "Christmas Adam" by Adam, with the Lundgreen family, the Girouard grandparents, all the MacCabe cousins and of course the brand new litter of bernedoodle puppies! After a traditional holiday dinner, we opened white elephant gifts. My Grandma Lundgreen was not excited about the knockoff LEGO set she opened, so my brother-in-law Tanner stole it from her and she was subsequently thrilled to receive a phone tripod. Christmas evening, Dallin and I returned to the Lundgreen home to opened presents and were shocked at the Ford Bronco walker Beckham was gifted.

Over Christmas break, the Urness fam took us to a lights festival. We decked Beckham out in his reindeer onesie and took him through the lights maze, and he was absolutely mesmerrized.  Grandma Woods insisted on taking a turn with Beckham, so she babysat while Dallin and I joined the rest of the family ice skating.

We spent Christmas morning with the Urness's. Dallin's sisters Olivia and Grace surprised their dad with a Spiderman computer, which was an inside joke from their childhood. Every time they wanted him to do something, they would try to incentivize him with a Spiderman computer, which they were convinced was the best thing they could promise him. Beckham received a rocking horse with his name on it! 

Over the break we also had a night with local foster kids, riding the horses and decorating sugar cookies. Another day, Beckham had his very first tractor ride.

This Christmas break, we stayed at the Samuelson house. Beckham got to meet the Samuelson aunties and his Grandpa Jim, as well as all the huskies (his first time meeting big dogs). Since Dallin still had to work on his computer for the first three days of his trip, Becks and I got some exclusive time with the Samuelson girls Christmas shopping. We celebrated Christmas with the Samuelsons on Christmas Eve, Jim making his traditional ebelskivers for breakfast and everyone opening jammies and presents that evening.

 Beckham's personality is starting to show, and we just love him so much.  

At three months old, Beckham started doing lots of new things:

• Lots of giggles
• Discovered his tongue and often tried to touch his chin with it 
• Making new sounds such as gah, ma-ah, hah, ho, wah. When excited or bored he will shout "ah"
• Rolling from side to side even more 
• Rotating around his new crib -- he wiggled himself approximately 270 degrees in just two minutes the other day
  
• He LOVES looking in mirror and will lay on his playmat just kicking and smiling at his reflection.
  
• Sleeping on his left side or on his back, which is good because his head was starting to look misshapen from laying on his right all the time. His pediatrician has us doing neck stretches too.
  
• Grabbing clothes, blankets, and other things try put in his mouth
• Moved to crib
• Noticing surroundings more than just lights — our cats, the trees, outside on our walk, things at store
• Short back and forth imitation
• Scratching everything — bassinet netting, me and my clothes
• Noticing feet and trying to do crunches to see them

This December we visited the Christkindlmarkt in Salt Lake. We quickly realized that crowds weren't quite stroller friendly, so after packing the stroller back in the trunk Dallin carried Beckham around while we enjoyed brats, pretzels, and the German-esque market.

Dallin's sister Brie came in town, and we spent the weekend doing shopping, movie nights, and trips to the natural history museum and butterfly biosphere.
