Christmas with the Samuelsons

We celebrated Christmas with the Samuelsons on Christmas Eve. That evening we enjoyed a dinner of meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and then we opened our matching jammies and opened all our presents. For the last gift, Jim had us all pull out a number from a bag. We were then given 15 minutes to search all around the house for the envelope with our number. On it. Everyone ran like mad, unable to give each other hints if we found someone else's envelope. I still could't find mine after 15 minutes, so everyone else helped me until Jim finally gave a clue and we found it behind some shutters. Everyone was gifted with cash. Then we were given Nerf guns and had a full out battle. They will be finding Nerf bullets for months. Poor blind doggie Denali must have been so confused.
