We went back to school today. Trust me- NOBODY was excited.
But I've got to thinking. You know what? Although maybe we'd like to sleep a little longer, school is good. We get to both learn and hang out with people that we otherwise wouldn't hang out with. We don't need to "dread" it, as we like to joke around!
And the rest of life is the same. Maybe we get so tired that we want to just throw it all away and make everything simple and easy, but we can't do that. I mean, isn't happiness the "fruit of thy labors"? So what if extension-liberties scare and exhaust me, if I get writer's block, if 120 is to fast of a tempo, or if Sophie likes to tear the house apart? I'm happy!
Oh, and to Zach who keeps asking how I can stand such a boring life as a Mormon, I NEVER said my life was not the most SPECTACULAR with lots of friends and family other blessings that keep the {now metal-filled} smile on my face!
