Baptisms

The day after the holiday, still in UT, was Adam's big day. It was freezing cold, and yet we had to wear short dresses. We had lots of friends/family invited. Although the opening speaker was 25 minutes late and the bishop 30, it was wonderful. It was so cool to know my brother was perfect.

The next day, 19-year-old cousin Becca, Kendall, and I left for baptisms for the dead. We first went out to lunch, then the Salt Lake Temple. It was AMAZING. Everything was a beautiful white. We weren't even allowed to sit on the floor! We mostly did names with Mary or Maria, but it was so cool to know that we were helping people who have been waiting for months... years... decades... centuries! Kendall and I kept thinking that maybe these people were anxiously watching us from the other side. It was one of the most precious moments in my life.
