The Great Outdoors

There's no need for a plan when you have a good pair of shoes.  We have become pro walkers, using our spare time to check out downtown Provo by foot.  For the three day weekend, we drove up by Provo temple where the grassy hills overlooked the purple valley and learned how to better throw a football. We first discovered that Rachel hates any object that gets near to her face. Then, abandoning any need to feel adultish, we somehow all ended up on the ground wrestling each other.  I suppose there's no such thing as really growing up!

and now, catchup time...
Since I have thoroughly neglected documenting all the ins and outs of my life, here are some of the random happenings of the past 3 months:

We enjoyed a little picnic on a rainy Sunday afternoon.  Katie has also joined us for nights watching Spiderman and Prince of Egypt, or for playing games like Exploding Kittens.
Getting Thai ice cream with roommates Lauren and Casey for Casey's birthday
Driving across town to fix Rachel's laptop.  Whilst she took care of all the techy stuff, Katie and I found a candy store that had one last Viennese Manner lemon wafer.  We also stopped by Uncle Steve's for a nice visit.
Joining the Lundgreen clan to take Paige through the temple.
Also, getting manicures and açaí bowls with Kendall and Paige.
 Getting pizookies for Dad's birthday.
Not pictured: the same week we invited Dallin's family over for a movie night in our big theatre room.  Sophie and I made brownies together, and whilst the kiddos watched Jumaji, the grownups stayed up late chit chatting and making faces at the baby.  Mav is so precious -- he stared at me with huge, round eyes and refused to look away!

Chelsea's bridal shower.  We watched a chick flick and watched a video interview of her fiancé to see how well they knew each other.

Back with the old quad at mission reunion #2
