If I could have had it my way, I would've stayed 19 forever. 

It's actually the first birthday since I was 16 that I spent on mainland USA  {17 Maui, 18 Mexico, 19 Oahu, 20 Austria}.   In the Lundgreen family, the traditional kind of birthday celebration is restaurant hopping, so that's precisely what we did.  Before work, we met up with Aunt Sheryl for breakfast, and then after lunch we headed out to Tempe to shop {my gift will be a good pair of running shoes} and then I insisted that we hit downtown Scottsdale if nothing else than for the fact that I miss my city life.  Then, Mexican food {where I ran into a friend from 3rd grade} and pizookies with the kids!
