- WE LITERALLY GET EACH OTHER SO WELL. Even though a lot of our interests are totally opposite, our personalities are incredibly similar, and a lot of our priorities and the way that we think about or respond to things are very are much the same.
- He is so kind to everyone around him, from family and acquaintances to Walmart grocers {whom he will ALWAYS ask about their day}. There was a situation last year where some colleagues had gotten stuck in a rut of sorts, and while his other friends sat there making fun of them, Dallin not only didn't join in on the jokes-- but he was actually prepared to go help them!
- He makes time for me. Even if it's 10:30 at night and he probably wants to take a shower, eat, and do homework after a long volleyball practice, he'll swing by my place to for a quick hello.
- He ALWAYS tells me, "You are gorgeous." No matter how not-cute I feel. And he makes this darling heart-struck look to go with it.
- He is so sexy and such a gentleman ;)
- That puppy-like nuzzling thing that he does.
- He is incredibly driven and not hesitant to put himself out there if he knows it will get him somewhere. He is hardworking and dedicated, as a student, employee and volleyball player.
- He respects me as a woman, both physically and intellectually.
- He listens to me when I tell him about my novel.
- He follows his passions. It has been so exciting to watch his transformation from a high school boy who had no idea what he wanted to do with his future, to a man who has a clear vision and LOVES what he does. Computer Science has been the best thing for him!
- He sees through my drama and logics me through my problems. Haha. He knows how to bring me back down to earth and calm me down over nonsensical things.
- He makes me laugh. All the time. And he makes me feel like I'm funny too.
- He is going to make such a great dad. #dadjokesfordays
- He is self-sufficient and knows how to clean without being a neat freak. #justmytype
- He is patient and never raises his voice.
- He knows how to have fun on the spot! Date night with Dal is often spontaneous but never ever ever boring!
- He is 100% dedicated to my wellbeing. **more on this in the next post
