Another Summer Engagement
If you would have asked me on her 22nd birthday in December, I would have guessed that Rachel would get married no sooner than her mid-twenties. She is a scholarly girl currently pursuing a PHD, and for years she has thrived in her independence. But she met a boy named Dick on Mutual, and she fell head over heels. She is an Arizona girl, he is an Alaskan man. She will be a clinical psychologist, he will be a commercial airlines pilot. He brings out the adventurous side of her: he has taught her how to shoot, and she has ridden on the back of his motorcycle.
