Rivalries of the Field, the Vocal Folds and the Fur

Our friend found incredible tickets to the BYU-ASU football game: second row behind the camera man.  When we entered the stadium I thought we would for sure be in the way back, but I couldn't have been more surprised. From that view it made the close game that much more intense! BYU barely won, and each touchdown was celebrated by cannon blasts and the screams of the crowd. Our friend was on the brink of winning tens of thousands of dollars on a bet he made that eight football teams would win.

Dallin also had a work retreat.  The company is remote, so the bosses got hotels for the non-Utahs to stay, and then we enjoyed dinner on Friday and karaoke on Saturday. Dallin always gets picked on because of his fun personality, so they kept choosing him to sing songs where he could show off his impressive falsetto.  We also played Werewolf and I (the werewolf) almost won against probably twenty people.

Lastly, we got to watch our friend's cat. Suki is very timid and expresses her fear through hisses and growls.  The first few days, Arlo hid under the bed to escape the bed. And then suddenly they became best friends, chasing each other around with their chirps and purrs at all hours of the night.

Playfully hunting each other
