So I just hopped on a bus all by my lonesome self and headed to Waikiki with nothing but a camera, a notebook and a swimsuit. I'll admit, a year ago I would NEVER have done this. Tiny little me, getting lost in a big city on purpose?! But when I accidentally got off at the completely wrong stop, where hundreds of strangers roamed about and looming skyscrapers devoured every horizon, it was nerve-racking and exhilarating and liberating all at once.
