It's oh so good to be home for the holidays.  After an endless number of goodbyes starting with graduation, it's really wonderful to be reunited with family and friends who come back to our little small town for Christmas.
This December has brought twinkling lights and four trips to Comstock; finding German sweets like Marzipanstollen and Lebkuchen at Trader Joe's; our grumpy old kitty {who recently discovered her vocal chords} laying under the Christmas tree; seeing the first half of Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story for the first time in our lives; sloppy gingerbread houses and Jordie's ebelskivers;  karaoke and hot tubbing;  watching Adam in A Christmas Carol and staying up outrageously late for marathons of Stranger Things; playing the piano once again.
December.... please don't end.
