For Rachel's birthday, we had been planning to go to the Cheesecake Factory.  But then all the restaurants closed down because of the virus. So the rest of us Gilbert girls made a plan to surprise her from home! We ordered pizzas, decorated her apartment with streamers and bubble machines, and were very startled when she come home way earlier than she said. We watched Tuesday the Seventeenth, as was our high school tradition, and we played frisbee. We even got to witness a man propose to his girlfriend. 

We were friends for most of our teenage years, and then after high school we all split our separate ways. Rachel and I went to BYU-Hawaii, and then I served my mission in Germany, Austria and England. Paige and Hayley went to the Ukraine and Lithuania to teach English, and Chelsea and Hayden went to Utah. After our adventures, it was so fun to all be back in Utah for college.  But now, it will be time to split ways again -- this time, probably for good.  Haley and her husband are moving to Georgia.  For now, the rest of us are still staying, but it's weird to realize that we are all growing up!
