We took a little day trip to the Nine Mile Canyon near Price, Utah, to see petroglyphs from the Fremont natives over 1000 years ago.  Realizing that there would be no service or signs to guide us exactly to the right direction, we tried to hop out of the car at a particular mile marker and ended up walking and searching for 15 minutes before realizing that there were ten other cars parked in the right spot. It took a while to recognize the petroglyphs, but once we recognized them for what they were, we could see them everywhere! Little pictographs of men and animals cut into the rock face told the history of a long lost people.  The most entertaining part for sure was to hear the three boys' modern interpretations of the rock art, such as, "That's a UFO."
