So last night I was up till eleven. I'm one of those people who can stay up forever, but since I had school in the morning, I went to bed and fell to sleep quickly. Well, you know how it is. You're in the middle of a dream, and it feels like you just barely went to bed when your alarm clock does its daily screaming. I didn't want to get up, but I felt refreshed and made myself get up and get dressed. I wore on a peach top with light blue True Religions. Then I put in my contacts and brushed my hair out till it was stick-straight. I considered waking Rachel up, since apparently she had decided once again to sleep in. Whatever. The hairspray and some of my makeup were in Mom and Dad's room, so I tiptoed into their room to retrieve them. Of course the door creaked, though.
"What are you doing?" Mom and Dad both asked, groggily.
I made a face. "I'm getting ready."
Even in the dark I could tell they were extremely weirded out. Equally confused, I then glanced at their clock.
Midnight.
Really?!
