Finally, my family got to spend a little bit of time in Maine.
When we were at Camp Joseph, we found a little souvenir in the grass. None other than a three-inch-tall Captain Jack Sparrow! It was 53 degrees. Only half of Arizona's temperature!
But the beach was astonishing! The water was so clear, the sand so white.
Apparently they had a seaweed fight. I missed it. Dang.
Sophie, always stylin'.
And then, of course, the lighthouse. Perched on a cliff, outlooking the great Atlantic. If only I could see it as it shines it light, guiding the ship from the storm
Our trip was one we will never forget. Filled to the brim with historical significance, we were able to learn so much. We snapped over a thousand pictures that we will forever cherish. And most importantly, our family was brought even closer together.
