After Washington D.C., we went to Pennsylvania. We stayed the night at the Drydens, who used to be in our ward.
When we were with them, all fifteen of us went on a little walk by the stream by their house. Again I began to feel a bit jealous of the green beauty that Gilbert, Arizona, does not have. As we walked, it was really fun to chat and catch up on all thats happened in the past three years since the Drydens moved.
In Valley Forge, we got to see the site where George Washington and his men stayed that symbolic winter. This was his headquarters. It was almost unbelievable to think that our hands were brushing the same railing that one of the founders of our nation touched.
The Liberty Bell.
There is most definitely a difference between seeing pictures and actually seeing such significant places/things of our country in person!
