It's been 165 years since the Saints arrived in the Valley. So lets all take a moment to reflect on the greatness of those who have gone before us, who so willingly risked their lives and sacrificed all they had to pave the way... for us. Because of people like those who crossed the plains, tossing themselves to the elements and flirting with death, we now have our freedoms. I don't know how. But with sheer faith and courage, my ancestors did it. That is something I am very proud of.
And I could only ever hope to have a fraction of the nobility of heart that these pioneers had.
